At the inspection dated Feb. 09, 2023 there were 15 children and 3 staff present.The manager was also on-site and assisted with the inspection. At this inspection, no contraventions were identified. This report was reviewed with the facility manager during the inspection.
A COVID-19 Risk Screening was also completed on-site.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
The following recommendations/discussions were provided:
- Continue to document minor incidents using the incident log bound book, and take note of any illness and unexpected events involving children not requiring medical attention, and that are not reportable incidents as described in Schedule H and staff to initial after each documentation
- Continue to clean and sanitize the facility including toys and equipment
- Continue hand hygiene procedures
- Continue to check the expiry date of items in the emergency supplies kit
- Discussed medication and facility to continue reviewing care plans regularly
- Discussed new enrolment procedures
- Discussed pick up procedures
