Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At this inspection, there were 9 children and 3 staff present. At this inspection, no contraventions were identified.

As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed.

The following was discussed:

- Getting a fridge thermometer
- Staff Files
- Applying for staffing exemption

The information contained in the report was discussed with the Manager and the report and risk assessment were written on-site. Licensing advised that copies of the report and risk assessment would be emailed to the facility.
