A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -21C or colder; hot holding units 60C or hotter; thermometers present; and temperature recorded daily.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Bleach present to use as sanitizer.
- Manual warewashing being done of utensils and cookware.
- All foods stored in food grade containers, covered, and 6" off the floor on shelves or platforms.
- Utensils found for each condiment insert, tongs and ladles present to handle cooked foods.
- No expired foods for sale or in use. FIFO rules being followed.
- Reheating of foods being done within 2 hours and temperatures checked prior to service.
- General sanitation level is good, improvement seen since last inspection. Premises is organized and uncluttered.
- No signs of pests.
- FoodSafe certified staff present. Certificates that do NOT have an expiration date on them have expired. Enroll into the refresher course if certificates have expired or are shortly going to expire. Go to www.foodsafe.ca to register.
