Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A tray of eggs (10 eggs) was stored in walk in cooler which was turned off and recorded at an ambient temperature of 14C. The internal temperature of egg recorded at 14.5C. Staff was not sure for how long the eggs have been stored above 4C. 10 eggs were discarded at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that all cold potentially hazardous food are stored at a temperature of at least 4C or less to prevent the bacterial growth and/or toxin production that could cause potential foodborne illness.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): In the walk in freezer, frozen raw bones & meat were not stored properly and were found in direct contact with either the floor, shelving or ice build up that could cause potential food contamination. Staff stated that the raw meat/bones were stored on the side to be discarded later today. The meat was voluntarily discarded by the staff during inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Always store food products at least 6inches off the floor and have them properly covered with lid, food grade material to prevent the risk of food contamination.

Note - Meat department was not operational due to renovations.

- Temperature of walk in freezer at -20C
- Reach in freezer at -10C
- Ice cream chest freezer at -23C
- One walk in cooler was turned off and used for storing beverages.

- Bulk bins were maintained in good sanitary condition and scoops were stored outside the bins.
- Pest Control conducts routine checks.

- Keep records/receipts of all the raw meats supplies for verification by the district EHO.
