Observation: Ice machine contains mildew deposits along plastic lip above where ice is dispensed.
Corrective Action(s): Drain the ice machine, remove the mildew and sanitize according to manufacturer's directions. The ice machine should be routinely emptied and sanitized to prevent the growth of mildew.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No sanitizer bottle available on-site. This is a repeat violation
Corrective Action(s): 200 ppm bleach spray bottles were prepared, one for each bar. Ensure that you routinely sanitize work surfaces.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): This is a repeat violation. No single-use paper towels were available at the sinks. Paper towel dispensers are empty.
Corrective Action(s): Paper towels were obtained for all four paper towel dispensers. Single-use paper towels should be present at each handwash station for drying hands as required.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted. New front-of-house management since last inspection. The following observations were made:

- Facility is generally maintained in good sanitary condition in areas inspected, including both bars and kitchenette area
- High-temperature dishwasher sanitizes glassware at 72C at the plate (Min: 71C)
- No signs of recent pest activity at time of inspection
- Shelving and bar area is well organized; bar taps and drains are well maintained
- Glassware stored in good sanitary condition
- Restrooms well maintained, handsinks inside adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels

Warning:
- Recurring issue with paper towels was discussed with employee. Handsinks must be adequately stocked at all times for proper handwashing
- New management will be informed about basic health requirements
- Further infractions will result in issuance of correction orders or violation tickets
