Observation: - Food (pineapple) stored in opened metal can.
- Several food containers were left uncovered in walk-in cooler
Corrective Action(s): - Transfer the contents of the metal can once it is opened, into a container that is made of food grade material. Once the seal of metal cans is broken, the contents must be stored in food grade containers to protect from contaminants
- Cover all food items with well fitting lids or plastic wrap

Comments

Routine inspection conducted and following are observed:
- Handwash station in front pizza area, near cookline and in washroom are supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- All coolers - walk-in cooler, pizza prep cooler, glass door cooler, prep cooler back area and under counter cooler are all maintained at less than 4C
- Upright storage freezer and chest freezer are measured at less than -18C
- All food is stored off the floor, food storage practices are satisfactory
- No evidence of pest activity is noted at the time of inspection
- Food contact surface sanitizer is available in a bucket and concentration is measured at 100 ppm chlorine residual
- Three compartment sink is available for manual warewashing and drain plugs are available
- FoodSafe level 1 training is verified, expiry date is October 23, 2023
- General sanitation is satisfactory
