Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bleach sanitizer bowls were tested at 50ppm and no detectable chlorine concentration. Back prep room did not have bleach prepared.
Corrective Action(s): Each food preparation area must have bleach at 100ppm to 200ppm to allow for proper sanitizing of food contact surfaces. To prepare 100ppm to 200ppm bleach, add 1 teaspoon of bleach to 1 litre of water. Bleach at 100ppm was prepared at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Facility has reopened after renovations due to flooding.
-Prep cooler was at 4C.
-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-Dairy cooler was at 4C.
-Display cooler was at 3C.
-Upright freezer was at -10C.
-High temperature dishwasher had a final rinse of 73C on the dish surface (minimum of 71C required for sanitizing).
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Foods covered and stored off the ground. Baked foods by the cash register were covered and protected from contamination.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalence - Safecheck Advanced Food Safety Certification Program (Valid 29-Mar-2025)

*Customers were observed not adhering to the face covering requirements. Face covering must cover both the mouth and nose. Face covering may only be removed once the patron is seating and consuming food or drink.
