Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed one mouse caught in a trap under the food prep table.
Corrective Action(s): Staff removed the mouse at time of inspection. Reset trap.

Observation: Observed a small hole in the ground between the wall and chest freezer in the back storage area. Insulation can be seen from above ground. This could be a potential rodent entry point.
Corrective Action(s): Seal small hole.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Cleaning is required in the following areas:
> Cedar and moss: coffee grounds on the edge of the ice machine and surrounding floor, droppings noted in both undercounter cupboards.
> Main kitchen: spilled dry goods in the area outside the walk-in freezer, droppings noted in the dry storage area.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize above mentioned areas. For all areas where droppings are identified, items must be pulled away from the walls/back of shelves to aid with removal of droppings. Follow up these areas with a strong bleach solution (1000ppm) to help remove rodent scents.
