Observation:
1) Newspapers are used to line tables near the tempura frying area
2) Raw chicken was being stored next to the avocados in the Frontier cooler.
Corrective Action(s):
1) Newspapers are not easily cleaned and sanitized, and may contain inks that are not suitable for human consumption. Use parchment paper or a similar food grade item to line the tables. Ensure that it is regularly changed and/or washed, cleaned and sanitized.
2) Raw meats must always be stored underneath vegetables and ready to eat foods to prevent cross contamination. Staff moved the raw chicken to a different cooler at the time of inspection.
