Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): - Spray bottle labelled sanitizer contained lysol cleaner/disinfectant. Lysol is not an acceptable food contact surface sanitizer as it requires a rinse step.
Corrective Action(s): - Empty spray bottle and rinse. Fill with acceptable food contact surface sanitizer (bleach or quats). [Completed at time of inspection]
- Ensure spray bottles are only filled with product which is specfied on label. Label was updated to specify chorine sanitizer with bleach dilution ratio.

Comments

- Kitchen is an approved food premises; however is primarily used by the church volunteers for events limited to members of their organization.
Note: When kitchen is rented out for events for the public, ensure users apply for a temporary food permit from Fraser Health.

- Kitchen and equipment are well maintained and in sanitary condition
- Hot and cold running water supplied to sinks
- Liquid soap and paper towel present at handsink
- High temperature dishwasher was operational and met required temperature to sanitize dishes. Temperature at dish surface: 71.6C.
- 2 door reach in cooler 2C
- 2 door reach in freezer -20C
- No signs of pest activity present at time of the inspection. Pest control contract is in place with regular service for the premises and property.
- Bleach present for sanitizing purposes. When kitchen is in operation, ensure bleach sanitizer solution is prepared and in use for food contact surfaces at the required concentration.
100 to 200ppm chlorine = 1/2-1 teaspoons bleach per litre of water. Sign provided with dilution instructions.
