HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 5
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: Sanitizer/disinfectant in use is not considered food-grade; we do not allow sanitizers which require rinsing with large amounts of water before they are safe to use; these are intended for manufacturing facilities where sufaces can be hosed down after sanitizing. Product bottle also indicates that it is not to be stored in food-processing or food-storage areas.
Replace with a food-grade sanitizer; this may be bleach used at a proper dilution or a suitable quaternary ammonium product at the correct dilution. Call or email me if you have any questions about product suitablility.
