HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 14
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 2
302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. No sanitizing solution was available at start of inspection.
2. It was stated that blender jugs are rinsed throughout the day with water only.
3. At the three compartment sink, the leftmost and rightmost compartments are competely obstructed by drain racks/trays.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Staff prepared a bleach water sanitizer at 100 ppm chlorine. Ensure that at all times, a sanitizing solution is available for use at the correct concentration for effective sanitizing. Change sanitizing solution as often as needed to maintain effective concentrations for sanitizing food contact surfaces (e.g. 100 to 200 ppm chlorine). This is a repeat violation.
2. Ensure that in-use equipment and utensils, including but not limited to blenders and espresso machine milk spouts, are cleaned and sanitized at least every four hours, or as often as needed to limit potential cross contamination and/or the growth of potential pathogens and/or toxins.
3. Drain racks/trays removed at time of inspection. Ensure that three compartment sink is available for manual warewashing at all times. A bleach water sanitizing solution was prepared in the third compartment at 100 to 200 ppm chlorine. Ensure blender jugs and other equipment are being sanitized as a final step after washing and rinsing.
Violation Score: 5

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Liquid soap located at hand washing sink appeared to be watered down.
Corrective Action(s): Liquid soap bottle was emptied and refilled with liquid soap. Ensure that liquid soap is not watered down as it may not lather as needed and its effectiveness for removing debris and/or oils from hands may be reduced.
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 2
309 - Chemicals, cleansers, & similar agents stored or labeled improperly [s. 27]
Observation: One spray bottle containing a pale yellow liquid was not labeled. Bottle was stored among cleaning chemicals under three compartment sink.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all chemicals are properly labeled to identify contents and to prevent accidental mixing or misuse. Date to be corrected by: Today.
Violation Score: 3

502 - In operator’s absence, no staff on duty has FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent [s. 10(2)]
Observation: Only staff member on duty does not have FOODSAFE Level 1 or its equivalent. Operator not on site at time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that at all times, at least one staff member on duty holds FOODSAFE Level 1 or its equivalent in the operator's absence. This is a regulatory requirement. Ensure that sufficient staff are trained so that these conditions can be met. Date to be corrected by: Today.
Violation Score: 1

Follow Up to "Critical" Violations Noted on Previous Inspections (if applicable): No corrections entered
