Facility in compliance with Correction Order Issued during past inspection.

Facility would like to add items to menu. Please contact Health Department to discuss further:
1) Items must be made in an "approved facility". This could be a restaurant or processor as long as a Government Agency is regularly inspecting facility and process.
2) Items can be made "in house". Rice cakes and other low risk baked goods can be produced without approval. High risk items (such as items that are "thermally processed" or "canned" are permitted once the procedure is reviewed and approved by Fraser Health Authority.
3) Labelling requirements are governed by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and at a minimum product name, ingredients and location of processor need to be on label (for tracking and recalling purposes).

Please contact myself for further discussion. LISA KIRKHAM 604-897-7889 (office hours from 8:45 until 10am daily) or email lisa.kirkham@fraserhealth.ca . Health Inspector will email owner directly.
