Routine inspection.

Not approved for eyelash extensions but eyelash extensions are being offered - see below.
Nails:
- Critical items (razor blade) - pedicure blades are single use - discarded into sharps container after use. Do NOT store blade in handle as it cannot be determined if the blade has already been used.
- Semi critical items (cuticle nippers, metal cuticle pushers, nail clippers, metal files, metal callus rasp/foot file, etc.) are being washed after use. High level disinfectant is old (19 days and most has evaporated) and the implements are not being immersed in disinfectant. Disinfectant expiry date Dec 2022. New disinfectant not available. See above. Use chlorine (31mL of domestic bleach in 250 mL water or 2 tbsp bleach in 1 cup of water made new every day).
- Foot bath - single use plastic liner used. Discard plastic liner and disinfect basin after each client (not reviewed today)- see your infection control plan.
- Non critical items (single use) - Disposable callus pads, nail files, buffers, sanding bands used on artificial nails, and foam sandles are available. Some absorbent nail files, sanding bands, foam buffers, and toe separators appear to be used. See above.
