Discussions with the Manager:-
- Licensing reviewed the use of Rm 27 in the school. This was used last Summer for occasional use by the Group Child Care 30 months to School age program and Licensing inspected the area to ensure health and safety of the children. This room meets requirements.
- Licensing also reviewed field trip permission forms as the facility uses public transport with the older children.
- Licensing also reviewed the medication form with the Manager and recommended adding the child's name to the front of the document. This was completed at the time of inspection.
- Licensing provided information regarding 'Live 5210' which will be used at the next staff meeting for information and resources.
- Licensing recommends having a separate attendance sheet for the children that do not have a nap time and move to another classroom. As they are separated from the larger group, it is imperative that their location is known and accounted for in case of an emergency.
