Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. Bucket of quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) sanitizer was measured at 100 ppm
2. Spray bottle of quats sanitizer was measured at 400 ppm
Corrective Action(s): Sanitizer concentrations were adjusted and measured at 200 ppm at time of inspection. Manufacturer's label for sanitizer states that it is to be used at a concentration of 200 ppm quats for an effective, no-rinse sanitizer for food contact surfaces. Ensure that sanitizer is maintained at concentrations effective for sanitizing food contact surfaces (200 ppm quats). Verify concentrations with test strips and change sanitizer solution as needed. Test strips that are within expiry are located on site.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Front hand washing station lacked paper towels.
Corrective Action(s): A roll of paper towels was provided at time of inspection. Ensure roll is fitted into dispenser. Ensure all hand washing stations are unobstructed and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels at all times to facilitate proper hand washing.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A tray of wheat grass was observed to be stored under employees' personal belongings, such as coats.
Corrective Action(s): Tray of wheat grass relocated away from personal belongings. Ensure no food items are stored in this area as it may be a potential source of contamination.

- Closed display cooler at 3 degrees C
- Open display cooler at 3 degrees C
- Under counter cooler at 3 degrees C
- Reach in cooler (back) at 2 degrees C
- Walk in freezer at -17 degrees C
- Under counter freezers (3) at -15 to -21 degrees C
- Back hand washing station is unobstructed and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. Staff observed to be properly washing hands at time of inspection.
- Sanitizer was prepared at two compartment sink at 200 ppm quats at time of inspection
- High temperature dishwasher measured 72 degrees C at the utensil surface during the final rinse (minimum: 71 degrees C at utensil surface)
- Discussed cleaning and sanitizing of juicing equipment and blenders. Reminder to ensure that equipment that is used throughout the day is properly washed and sanitized at least every four hours. Ensure sanitation plan is followed.
- General sanitation good. No signs of pest activity observed at time of inspection.
- FOODSAFE requirements met at time of inspection. FOODSAFE certificate available for staff on site expires in 2023.
- Temperature logs are generally well maintained. Temperatures recorded daily.
