Observation: Sanitizer bottle has a chlorine sanitizer (bleach/ chlorine 100ppm) and also detergent.
Corrective Action(s): Post directions for staff. Meat slicer and other equipment are to be washed with soap and water, rinsed with plain water, and then sanitized with a sanitizing solution (such as 1 tsp plain liquid bleach in 1 litre of water). Air dry. Do not mix bleach with detergent as these are separate steps. Label spray bottle with contents.

Observation: Two rat droppings noted in the kitchen (under shelves across from hand sink).
Corrective Action(s): Provide copy of latest pest control report (from licenced pest control). Continue with pest monitoring, Seal holes. Keep food protected from contamination.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Back door to kitchen was open during the inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Keep door closed so that pests, such as rodents, cannot enter the kitchen.

Observation: Staff on site today has an expired Food Safe certificate. Certificates expire after 5 years.
