Comments

- General sanitation was satisfactory.
- 3 handwash sinks were fully equipped with hand soap, hot/cold running water and paper towel.
- All the coolers (under the counter, walk in, and dairy) kept < 4 C.
- Walk in freezer and ice cream freezer kept - 18C.
- Hot holding units for meat and mushroom measured > 60C.
- Quats sanitizer in buckets and dispenser all at 200ppm- Excellent!
- Low temperature dishwasher with 100ppm chlorine concentration at the final rinse cycle.
- Temperature log available for review.
- Staff stated they use Ecolab sanitizer-soaked cloth to wipe the food contact surfaces- excellent!
- 3-compartment sink was available for dish washing.
- Dry Goods stored 6 inches off floor and protected from potential contamination. Dry storage area well organized.
- Randomly selected foods were within their Best Before Date.
- Chemical stored away from food.
- No pest activity observed during the inspection. Back door was tightly closed.
- Staff Washroom was in a sanitary condition.
- Staff on duty have their FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent valid certificate.

Note: dripping well for ice cream scoop was not working during inspection. Manager fixed the problem in the end.
