Observation: - Numerous boxes of syrups and a bag of icing sugar (food products) noted directly on floor
Corrective Action(s): - Food items must be stored a minimum of 6 inches off of the floor. Re-organize shelving to allow for additional storage. Do not order more stock than there is space to accomodate on the shelving.
*Floors must also be kept clear to facilitate cleaning and monitoring for any pest activity.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: - Floor between under ice machine and between ice machine and adjacent cabinet has grime and miscellaneous debris noted. Food debris noted on floor in dry storage area.
- Cabinet/shelving under espresso machine and front handsink is spalttered with food residue. Additionally, the surface is unsealed wood which is unacceptable as it cannot be properly cleaned
Corrective Action(s): - Thoroughly clean areas noted above to remove grime and debris.
- Seal/paint any unsealed wood surfaces so that the surface is smooth and washable and can be maintained in a sanitary condition.

Observation: - Neither staff members on duty at the time of the inspection had completed Foodsafe level 1 training.
Corrective Action(s): - Ensure sufficient staff have completed Foodsafe level 1 to ensure adequate coverage. In the Operator's absence, 1 staff member present must have completed Foodsafe level 1. Keep a copy of certificates on-site for verfication

- Handsinks in food prep/service area supplied with liquid soap and paper towel. Observed frequent handwashing by staff
- Public and staff washroom supplied with liquid soap and paper towel
- All coolers operating at acceptable temperatures (4C or colder):
- 2 door under counter unit 4C
- Display cooler 2C
- 2 door reach in cooler (back) 4C
- Freezers maintaining product in a frozen state
- Chest freezer -26C
- 2 door undercounter freezer -12C
- Quats surface sanitizer present in spray bottle and from dispenser at warewashing sinks. Concentration measured 200ppm.
- Reviewed sanitizing frequency for in use equipment such as blender pitchers --> minimum every 4 hours.
- High temperature dishwasher operational and met sanitizing temperature. Final rinse measured 71.3 C at dish surface.
- No signs of pest activity noted at the time of the inspection.
