Routine inspection:

Production involves, mixing/sorting, steeping, washing, grinding, baking, cooling, frying, ambient cooling and then packaging over 2 lines.
Metal detector and X-ray available for detecting any foreign material (CCPs).
All finished products, raw ingredients, and packaging material stored off the floor in the warehouse.
Pest control services in place. No evidence of pests observed at time of inspection.
General sanitation is good. Wet garbage disposal area maintained in a sanitary condition. Power washer is available for use.
Lot codes and package on dates available for finished products. Various records kept for production.
Clean in place for equipment using hypochlorite solution or acetic acid.
Designated hand sink leading to product area provided with liquid soap and paper towels.
Employees provided with clean outer garments and hair nets.
Hand sink in smaller warehouse also provided with liquid soap and paper towels. 2 compartment sink available for washing equipment. All chemicals stored in a dedicated space.
Walk in cooler used for cooling of certain products prior to cutting.
Walk in freezer at -18 degrees C. Both refrigeration units not used to store finished products.
