Observation: No staff on site at time of inspection had Food Safe Level 1 (or equivalent) food safety training.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure at least one trained staff member is present on site at all times the store is operational. Have additional staff trained by next month (8th April 2018). Submit copies of additional certificates to the area health officer, once received.

Comments

*General sanitation excellent. No evidence of pest issues observed during inspection.
*Three-compartment dish sinks in working order.
*Hand sink supplied with warm water, liquid soap and paper towels.
*Drinks blender and frozen yoghurt machine maintained in clean condition. Staff state yoghurt machine is cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis - ensure manufacturer's directions are followed. Sanitizer for machine could not be found during inspection.
*Frozen yoghurt machine hopper measured at 2-3 C.
*Diversol chlorine sanitizer available on site. Sanitizer spray bottle contained 200ppm chlorine.
*Ensure sanitizer cups are refilled on a frequent basis to maintain strength.
*Cooler and freezer temperatures satisfactory. Ensure thermometer in under-counter cooler is kept inside the cooler unit to allow daily measurement.
