Good Morning Joshua;

Thank you for submitting the floor plan for the proposed temporary patio extension at the aforementioned location. As we discussed, the following requirements relate to the construction and operation of the proposed patio extension need to be completed prior to being given approval to operate:

1) All food contact surfaces must be smooth and non-absorbent, easy to clean;
2) No food preparation will be provided at this outdoor patio;
3) No additional food items will be added to existing Food Safety Plans;
4) Sanitation Plans and checklist will be available;
5) COVID Safety Plan must be in place prior to operation;
6) FOODSAFE Level 1 training is required. One person with FOODSAFE Level 1 must be on-site at all times when the facility is under operation.
7) Solid waste containers located outside the premises should be equipped with covers and closed when not in use.
8) Certified pest control contact will be necessary to have after opening the outdoor serving area in order to minimize the risk of contamination of food products inside and outside the food preparation area.

Permit fee will be collected at the time of opening. Please call the undersigned at 604-870-7904 for any questions.
