Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Employee phone was placed on a sanitized deli slicer.
Corrective Action(s): Phones must be placed in designated areas. Do not place phones on equipment or work surfaces - this can lead to cross contamination. Slicer was sanitized at the time of inspection.

Observation: Mould growth was found on the shelving units in the walk-in cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure walk-in cooler is cleaned and sanitized on a routine basis. Once food drops on the shelving units, ensure it is cleaned up immediately or at the end of the night.

Observation: Soap dispenser is required by the back handwash station. Soap is placed in a pump bottle and water gets into the pump bottle, diluting the soap.
Corrective Action(s): Reinstall liquid hand soap dispenser by the back handwash station.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Pizza prep cooler was at 3C (top and bottom).
-Front dessert cooler was at 2C.
-Upright freezer was at -20C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3 compartment sink. Bleach prepared and measured and at 200ppm.
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach sanitizer pails were at 200ppm and labelled.
-Foods properly stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent valid until 2024-03-21
