Observation: Ice machine had a small amount of black buildup inside it.
Corrective Action(s): Do not use the current batch of ice inside the ice machine due to the presence of black buildup inside the ice machine; Effective immediately. Drain the ice and clean and sanitize the inside of the ice machine as per manufacturer's directions to maintain it in a clean condition; Correct today.

Observation: A few tiles have become unfixed from the back wall near the floor-to-wall junction in the dining area.
Corrective Action(s): Re-affix the tiles to the wall near the floor-to-wall junction in the dining area; Correct within three months.

Observation: In the Operator's absence, staff on duty reported that they do not hold valid FOODSAFE Level 1/equivalent course training. Staff mentioned that with the exception of today, they are normally scheduled with another person with FOODSAFE Level 1 training.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure at least one staff member on shift in the absence of the Operator holds valid FOODSAFE Level 1/equivalent course training. Refer to www.FOODSAFE.ca for course postings.

Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
Prep. sink was operational.
2-compartment sink was operational.
Dishwasher final rinse chlorine sanitizer residual was at 50 ppm at the plate level.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available in two spray bottles.
Chlorine test strips were available on-site.
Refrigeration units were at or below 4 degrees C.
Walk-in-freezer was at or below -18 degrees C. Two shelving units were present inside it.
Hot-held peas and gravy were at or above 60 degrees C.
A probe thermometer was available on-site.
Ventilation hood was in a clean condition
No signs of recent pest activity were present at the time of inspection.
