Equipment/facilities/hot & cold water for sanitary maintenance not adequate [s. 17(3); s. 4(1)(f)]
Observation:
Sink plugs not available for manual warewashing at the time of inspection. Manager brought one sink plug from elsewhere in the store but this plug was not fitted for the 3-compartment sink.
Correction:
Ensure proper fitted sink plugs are available for the 3-compartment sink. This is required for proper manual warewashing using the wash, rinse, sanitize and air dry method. To be corrected today.

Follow-up Inspection:
- Hand sink in kitchen has now been repaired and functioning properly.
- Hand washing station in kitchen fully equipped with liquid soap, paper towels and hot/cold running water. All food handlers are to use the designated hand washing stations for hand washing.
- Proper fitting sink plugs available for 3-compartment sink.
- Cleaning done behind slurpee machines.
