Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: 1. Brown organic debris observed on the interior of ice machine on corners of black tray.
2. Stored clean meat slicer (covered) in kitchen area observed with dried food debris.
3. Soda gun in bar observed with long standing brown debris
4. Onion dicer observed with dried food debris stored clean on shelf in kitchen area. (Corrected during inspection)
5. Two cutting boards stored clean observed with long standing debris. (Corrected during inspection)
6. Counter mounted can opener observed with long standing red food debris on blade in kitchen area. (Corrected during inspection)
Correction: To maintain equipment and food contact surfaces in sanitary condtion:
1. Discard all ice in ice machine and clean/sanitize the interior of the machine. To be corrected by next inspection.
2. Clean and santize meat slicer. To be completed by next inspection.
3. Remove nozzle and clean and sanitize soda gun nozzle. To be completed by next inspection.
4. Onion slicer, cutting boards, and can opener were cleaned and sanitized during inspection.
Ensure all food contact surfaces are cleaned after use and cleaned regularly to prevent cross contamination of foods.

Follow-up inspection conducted on behalf of the district EHO.

- The ice machine had been cleaned and sanitized. No visible traces of mold or mildew were noted. Ensure the scoop is stored in a clean and sanitary container outside the chamber. Do not store drain plugs in the same container as the scoop as that can cause a cross contamination.
- Meat slicer had been cleaned and sanitized.
- Soda gun in the bar had been cleaned. Ensure the nozzle is cleaned and sanitized routinely.
