Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Falafel found in malfunctioning cooler from previous night. Temperature of 24 degrees Celsius observed. CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION - item discarded.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Donair observed on turning oven without burners on. Temperature of 24 degrees observed. Facility opens at 5am and meat is placed on turntable at 6am. Inspection conducted at 10:30 - CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION - item was sliced down to frozen portion. Frozen portion placed into freezer and slices cooked on grill and stored in hot holding unit.

Corrective Action(s): Donairs / Beef are not to be at room temperature for indefinite time periods. Any food item in the turning oven must be cooking with burners on. At no point are the burners to be turned off.

Guideline for Donairs provided to operator for review. Ensure all staff are following proper procedures.

Corrective Action(s): Clean anywhere food debris has accumulated including, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Walls, Floor, Under equipment, Shelves where food debris has accumulated
- Area surrounding dough mixer
- Clean and organize all shelves
- Bread basket shelves
- Remove all personal items (purses, cell phones) from food prep areas
- Floor in stand up cooler
- Inside walk in cooler
- Inside prep cooler
- etc.

Observation: The following construction items are found at facility and not required for operation of a restaurant:
2 Car batteries, Bags of Grass seed, Paint and supplies, Construction adhesive (opened and in use), 3 flood lights, Tiles and tiling equipment, Hammer, Hacksaw, Power Drills, Luggage, Windshield wipers, Circular Saw, Garden Shears, etc.

Items were mixed in amongst food and in shelves.

Corrective Action(s): All above mentioned items are to be removed from facility - Section 17 of Public Health Act

The storage of these items in facility is not permitted due to:
1) They are dirty and have the potential to contaminate food items
2) They take up valuable room in facility. Facility is not very large and requires all available.

COMMENTS:
- Coolers at temperatures of less than or equal to 4 degrees Celsius
- Hot holding units at temperatures of greater than or equal to 60 degrees Celsius
- Freezer units at temperatures of less than or equal to -18 degrees Celsius
- No evidence of pests

NOTE: several changes have been made to facility. 1) The dishwasher has been blocked 2) Handsink has been removed from facility. Health inspector to check floor plans of facility to determine what other changes have been made with or without Health Approval.
