Observation: Neither staff member on-site had their valid FoodSafe Level 1 or equivalent training - FoodSafe expired on July 29, 2018.
Corrective Action(s): At least one person in the facility must have FoodSafe Level 1 or equivalent training, while the facility is open. Either staffing schedules must be adjusted to ensure at least one person on shift has their valid FoodSafe Level 1 or additional staff must be trained in FoodSafe Level 1

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -17C.
-Both sandwich coolers were at 4C.
-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-Under counter cooler was at 4C.
-Front customer area cooler was at 3C. (dairy).
-Hot holding was greater than 60C (foods probed at 75C). Meatballs are reheated in microwave to greater than 74C prior to placing in hot holding unit. Soups are reheated to greater than 74C in the soup warmer (within 2 hours).
-Temperatures are checked and recorded twice daily.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in 3-compartment sink. Sanitizer tested at 200ppm.
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Quats sanitizer spray bottle labelled and tested at 200ppm.
-Foods stored off the floor and covered.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and well maintained
