Observation: Significant ant infestation noted in the back area of premises, around the mop sink. Ants coming out of gap at floor wall interface. Food debris and possible beverage spill in and behind the shelf next to mop sink.
Corrective Action(s): General clean up of premises, including built up food and sugar spills will impact ant activity. Clean up. Move shelves as discussed to perform proper clean up.
Block access points used by ants as discussed. Start at the mop sink area and expand as needed.
Contact pest control contractor to actively control ant population.
Review at re-inspection date noted.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Multiple areas of premises observed with significant build-up of food and related debris. These areas include:
- Cavity area behind froster machines (significant syrups noted on floor);
- Area under beverage syrups in dish sink room.
- floor under upright coolers in storage/sinks room. Build up of black debris or carbon build up noted. Food containers and food debris also noted. This has been noted in previous inspections, but has gotten worse not better.
- Area by back door and mop sink.
- area below and around dish sinks.
- Doors and door handles to cooling units, stainless steel counters and general surfaces.
All will be reviewed at follow up inspection date noted on report.
Corrective Action(s): A reset cleaning must be performed, in areas noted above.

Drain fly infestation not observable. No flies noted around grease trap. Grease trap repaired according to staff. Did not notice flies in mop sink area of premises at time of inspection.

Cooling units all less than 4 C.
Freezers between -16 and -20 C
sanitizer in spray bottles (quats) at 20 to 400 ppm.
Hot holding units above 60 C.
