304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Rodent droppings were present in both dry storage rooms and the room with the hot water tank.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize the above-noted areas thoroughly to remove the rodent droppings; Correct today. Conduct checks at least every morning and evening for signs of recent pest activity and clean and disinfect all affected areas immediately. Provide a copy of your most recent pest control report to the district Environmental Health Officer. Continue with the pest control program and sealing any entry points. Cover food contact surfaces between use to protect them from potential contamination. Eliminate the pooling/standing water on the floor to prevent potential breeding grounds for pests.

305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
Observation: Water was dripping from the hose attached to the pipe from the walk-in-cooler onto the floor near the entrance door of the walk-in-cooler. Floor drains were not located directly below this hose and were located at a distance near the cook line. Floors were observed wet with accumulating water that was draining from the hose attached to the pipe.
Corrective Action(s): Staff member placed a catch basin below the pipe during the inspection to prevent the water from dripping directly onto the floor. Continue placing the catch basin below the hose to prevent accumulating water on the floor as an interim solution until the necessary repairs are made.

311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
Observation: Hose attached to the pipe near the entrance door of the walk-in-cooler does not drain directly into a floor drain below it and currently drains onto the floor inside the food premises.
Corrective Action(s): Provide a written proposal of which repairs will be made to address the above-noted concern by August 12, 2022. If the pipe discharges water from the refrigeration unit, ensure it drains properly into a sanitary sewerage system without contributing to water accumulating or draining onto the floor or into the designated handsinks near the cook line. Note: Plumbing is to be maintained in accordance with the local Plumbing Code.

Follow up inspection:
-Hot and cold running water was accessible from the handsink near the back door.
-3-door refrigeration drawer cooler was at or below 4 degrees C (measured at 2 degrees C).
-Raw meat was stored on lower shelving units inside the walk-in-cooler and separately from ready to eat food.
-Garlic mixer was covered with saran wrap between use.
-Venthood panels have been cleaned on a weekly basis according to the Manager over phone. Continue with regular cleaning of ventilation hood panels to prevent accumulation of grease.
-Hole in baseboard had been sealed.
-Manager informed over phone that they have obtained chlorine test strips, however staff were unaware of their location. Dishwashing was not occurring at the time of inspection. This will be checked during the next follow up inspection.
