Routine check of kitchen located on the ground level of the White Rock Community Center.
Kitchen is used mainly by private groups with food being prepared by volunteers of the group (no Food Permit required).
If the kitchen is used by a caterer or for groups where the food will be for the public, then a Temporary Food Permit is required. Call Fraser Health if you have any questions about temporary food premit requirements.
Cooler - air temperature is satisfactory (<4 C/ 40 F).
Hand washing sink has hot/cold water, liquid soap and paper towels in dispensers.
Premises is clean. Organic waste bin adn garbage area - good.
Equipment on site includes insulated food storage containers (to keep food hot or cold), convection oven, hot holding cabinet, and dishwasher.
Quats sanitizer is in labelled spray bottle.
Dishwasher has a hot water final sanitizing rinse (152 F wash water gauge/ 184 F final rinse gauge / 174 F measured inside of the machine) - good. A minimum of 160F inside of the machine is required.
*** Note: Follow manufacturer's directions for maintaining the commercial dishwasher. A white substance, possibly calcium build up, is noted in the bottom of the dishwasher. |
