Routine check of Tsawwassen Amateur Baseball Association food concession at Winskill Park.
Food Permit is seasonal from April - Sept (inclusive) and concession operates more than 14 days per year.
Notify Fraser Health if there are any changes. Permit renewal discussed.
Cooler (large upright) is at 4C/40F or colder - good. Thermometer available.
Two door freezer at 0F / -18C - good. Chest freezer - goodl.
Reviewed cooking temperatures for hamburgers. Cooking to 74C/165F (71C or hotter required) and hot holding above 60C/140F. Food storage is in pest proof bins or in cooler/freezers.
Small bar cooler - for short term storage or low risk foods - currently empty.
Separate storage room for fridge and freezers - ok.
Hand washing - hot/cold water, liquid soap, and paper towels in dispenser provided.
Non-latex disposable gloves are available.
Chlorine bleach available on site. For sanitizing food contact surfaces and utensils, use 1 tsp plain domestic bleach in 1 liter of water (100-200ppm).
Poster showing wash, rinse, sanitize, and air dry procedures is posted.
Sanitize surfaces before and after each use of kitchen.
Person in Charge and several volunteers have Food Safe level 1 (or equivalent) certification.
Remember to renew food safety certificates before they expire.
Food safety plan and sanitation plan posted.
***Finish deep cleaning before opening for season.
