Note: The kitchen was not in operation at the time of the inspection.
- General sanitation is good.
- Handwashing station supplied with hot/cold running water, soap, and paper towels.
- Two domestic coolers/freezers at < or = to 4C and < or = -18C respectively.
- Three compartment sink available for manual dishwashing. Sanitizer available at 100ppm bleach solution with drain plug to fill the sanitizing compartment of the sink. Please follow the proper manual dishwashing procedures posted on the wall.
- Surface sanitizers available in white buckets with presoaked wiping cloths at 100ppm bleach solution. Ensure to provide surface sanitizers at each station (ie serving area, main prep area) and use clean wiping cloths.
- No food storage in the upstairs dry storage room. Ensure to keep all food items at least min 6inches (15cm) off the floor.
- No signs of pest activity at the time of the inspection. Holes have been patched.
- FOODSAFE trained staff must be on duty during the operation of the kitchen. Please keep copies of all FOODSAFE certificates on site for review by the health inspector.
Note: FOODSAFE certificates obtained prior to July 29th, 2013 expire on July 29th, 2018. All staff must take a refresher course to obtain recertification. The new FOODSAFE certificates have a five year expiration date.
