309 - Chemicals, cleansers, & similar agents stored or labeled improperly [s. 27] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Quats solution in spray bottle labelled bleach. Solution also measured in excess of 500 ppm, the highest measure for test strips. Diluted solution to 200 to 400 ppm range. Manufacturers directions indicate a ratio of approximately 2.5 ml solution per 1000 ml water. Spray bottle max capacity is 650 ml. Recommend getting a dollar store pump dispenser and use it as dosing system for spray bottles. This will be a more reliable method to dose small volumes of concentrate. For bleach, a similar dilution ratio can be used. ***Make sure not to mix quats and bleach for safety reasons. Corrective Action(s): Make sure to dilute sanitizers into proper concentrations as discussed. Make sure to label all pray bottles to use and chemical. Label "water only" spray bottles as well to avoid any mistakes. Violation Score: 3

*Relocate paper towels to an area closer to the handwash station, preferably in designated paper towel dispenser or similar. Cooling units less than 4 C. Freezer at -18 C dishwasher at 73 C at plate. One of two washrooms taken out of service and is used for storage. Do not use as washroom at all.
