Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection
At the inspection dated May 9, 2023 there were 25 children and six staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this routine inspection, a facility risk assessment tool is completed and a copy is provided. This report was reviewed with the manager.
The following were discussed:
Areas of piping in the outdoor irrigation system are starting to be exposed due to soil erosion. Currently this does not pose a risk to children. The manger stated the maintenance department has been contacted and will be addressing this issue.
