209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Upper compartment of the ice machine still has accumulation of mould and mildew-like deposits. Corrective Action(s): Employee removed ice and began process of cleaning and sanitizing at time of inspection. You must routinely clean and sanitize the ice machine in accordance with the manufacturer's directions to avoid the buildup of mould and mildew, which could lead to the contamination of ice. Remember that the TOP compartment must also be thoroughly cleaned with a cleaning solution FIRST, then sanitized. Violation Score: 9

Follow-up inspection conducted. Hand wash stations are unobstructed and adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels. Residue around the outside of the walk-in cooler has been removed. Efforts have been made to remove the grime in the undercounter area to the right of the drive-thru. The following still require your attention: 1/4" gap in back receiving door still present. According to the operator, arrangements have already been made for the contractor to come next week to seal the gap. The contractor will also be replacing the tiling outside of the walk-in freezer
