Observation: Flour/food debris/other dry ingredient accumulation noted on floors under/behind equipment, in corners, and in hard-to-reach areas in general.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure deep cleaning in all areas is done at least once a week, and more frequently if needed.

Observation: Paper towel dispensers (at kitchen hand washing sink and in staff washroom) were not working properly.

Comments

- Routine inspection conducted.
- Hand washing sink in kitchen and in staff washroom properly supplied with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and rolls of paper towel for drying hands; however, paper towel dispensers were not working (see violation code 308 above).
- Triple-sink for manual warewashing maintained in sanitary conditions. Sink drain plugs/stoppers available for use.
- Quats sanitizer solution available at 200 ppm for sanitizing. Test strips available for use.
- Cooler measured 4C or colder.
- Freezer measured -18C or colder.
- Time-tracking log available and up to date for 6-hr room temperature hold of savoury products.
- Equipment generally maintained in sanitary conditions, however deep cleaning in hard-to-reach areas required (see violation code 306 above).
- No signs of pest activity noted at time of inspection.
- Staff onsite had valid FoodSafe level 1 certificate.
