Observation: Operator did not have a valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate based on the FOODSAFE provincial database system. FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate itself was not available on-site.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that the Operator and at least one staff member in their absence maintains valid FOODSAFE Level 1/equivalent course training. Operator is required to renew their FOODSAFE Level 1/equivalent course training by successfully completing a full FOODSAFE Level 1 course/equivalent course; Correct within 2 months and provide the district Environmental Health Officer a copy of the Operator's valid FOODSAFE Level 1/equivalent course training. Handsinks were adequately supplied.
Pizza prep. cooler, dough cooler, drinks cooler, and walk-in-cooler were at or below 4 degrees C (40 degrees F).
Upright freezer was at or below -18 degrees C (0 degrees F).
Three probe thermometers in working order were available on-site.
Food is cooked to at least 170 degrees F (at or above 165 degrees F) based on the temperature record sheets.
Temperature records were available.
Food was covered in storage areas.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available inside the spray bottles.
Sanitizer arrives pre-mixed and set at 200 ppm QUATS from the GFS according to staff.
No signs of recent pest activity were present at the time of inspection.
