HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 11
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
402 - Employee does not wash hands properly or at adequate frequency [s. 21(3)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Lack of handwashing observed during inspection. Staff observed doing multiple activities, including handling a telephone with gloved hands, before proceeding to start handling while wearing the same gloves.
Corrective Action(s): Staff directed to discard gloves and wash hands before applying a new pair of gloves.
Ensure that proper glove use and hand washing procedures are followed at all times in order to protect food from potential contamination. Hands must be washed between tasks that may potentially introduce contamination to food, and gloves are to be discarded prior to hand washing. As a reminder, gloves are not to be washed, and must be discarded prior to hand washing.
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 2

- Few bags of food product in dry storage room were stored in direct contact with the ground.
- Olives observed with potential signs of spoilage. Olives stored in a can.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all food is properly covered and sealed, and stored off the floor, in order to protect the food from potential contamination. Olives discarded. Ensure food is not stored in cans (potential for rust/leaching of metal/chemicals once can is opened) and ensure food is free from signs of spoilage.
Violation Score: 3

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
