Observation: Boxes of food and products noted on the floor in the walk-in freezer. Unable to get inside the walk-in freezer due to the amount of boxes blocking the entrance.

Corrective Action(s): Reorganize the freezer and remove all food products off the floor and store at least 6 inches off the floor to allow for effective cleaning in the walk-in freezer.

Observation: Mop water noted in the mop bucket in the back of house.
Date to be corrected by: Immediately
Corrective Action(s): Discard the mop water.
Mop bucket must be emptied after mopping to discourage the breeding of pests on the premises.

Observation: 1. Debris and black organic buildup noted on the interior wall of the display refrigeration units holding vegetables and meat products.

2. Mouse droppings noted in various areas of the premises (including by the exterior of the walk-in freezer unit).
Corrective Action(s): 1. Wash, rinse and sanitize any areas noted with debris in the display refrigeration units.
2. Wash, rinse and sanitize any areas noted with mouse droppings to determine whether the facility is dealing with a pest issue or whether this is a previous issue that has been dealt with. If mouse droppings reappear, the operator should contact a pest control company to assist with the mouse issue.

Observation: Flaking paints noted on the wall and ceiling of the walk-in cooler.

Corrective Action(s): This issue was noted on the last routine inspection in February 20, 2019 but has not been addressed.
Repaint the walk-in cooler so that the surfaces are in a condition that will allow for proper cleaning and sanitation.

Observation: Many empty cardboard and styrofoam boxes noted stored unorganized in the storage areas.

Corrective Action(s): Issue also noted during the last routine inspection. Discard and remove all the empty cardboard and styrofoam boxes in the storage areas. Remove and discard everything that is not required for the premises. Clutters may become a harbourage sites for pests and must be removed to discourage pests if there are any on the premises.
