Observation: While checking for cleaning that was supposed to have been completed in chip/snack aisles Health Inspector discovered chip and popcorn bags with chew marks in them. Items were in the process of being collected for disposal during inspection.

Correction: Ensure ALL AISLES have items removed from ALL SHELVES and area must be SANITIZED with 200ppm Chlorine or equivalent.
Discard any product that has been contaminated by rodents - either chewed or defecated on.

Comments

Although facility had EXTENSIVE cleaning yesterday and Health Inspector observed entire aisle of chips being removed and area cleaned and sanitized additional rodent droppings found in this area today. Manager has Pest Technician inspecting facility today. Ensure Pest technician has THOROUGH inspection of all areas for signs of infestation and possible nest. Front doors may need a new seal at bottom. Discuss with pest technician.
