Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DoLSoP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated May 27, 2021 there were 7 children and 2 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided by email. In support of Covid - 19 measures ( reducing the time spent on site). the report was completed off site and provided by email therefore unsigned. The Facility manager was not present for the inspection. Staff reminded to check emergency supplies to ensure they are sufficient in quantity and not expired as they are due for review. The following resources were provided: Ø Reportable Incident Bulletin – reviewed the requirement to report to CCFL within 24 hours Ø Reportable incident forms Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
