Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed scoop stored in a dry product container, handle touching the food
Corrective Action(s): Required operator to remove the scoop, wash and sanitize it prior to re-use. Scoops must stored so that the handle does not touch the food as it can be a source of cross contamination. Operator removed the scoop at the time of inspection and moved it to the dishwashing area.

2. Back storage area was not organized where utensils and bottled chemicals were stored together and on floor

Corrective Action(s): Required operator to reorganize the back storage area. Ensure to separate chemicals from utensils. All utensils must be cleaned and sanitized prior to storing them in clean containers and off the floor. Metal shelving and ceiling must be cleaned.
