Code 303 noted on Routine inspection # RLAM-CZBUZU of Jan-09-2024 Equipment/facilities/hot & cold water for sanitary maintenance not adequate [s. 17(3); s. 4(1)(f)] Observation: Hot running water is not available. Photos were taken. 2 hot water taps in the kitchen are not able to be moved as they leak when they are turned on. The only movable hot water tap located on the right side of the 3 compartment sink measured approximately 12C. Operator states the hot water tank has malfunctioned due to a electrical issue and has made an emergency call to the mall for support that will arrive in approximately 1 hour. Correction: 2 Fraser health bulletins and section 2.11 of the food code was provided. 3 compartment sink chart was posted on the wall above the 3 compartment sink and the requirement of 45C cannot be achieved at this food premises. Code 401 noted on Routine inspection # RLAM-CZBUZU of Jan-09-2024 Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation: No hot running water available. Designated handwashing sink in the back kitchen does not have a moveable hot water tap as it leaks when it is turned on. Water temperature measures approximately 8.4C Correction: Hand washing stations must be fully equipped according to the regulation.
