Observation: Rodent droppings observed in the following areas:

- Along all edges of the dining hall
- Around the area where the mop bucket is stored
Corrective Action(s): Wear personal protective equipment. Remove the rodent droppings (e.g. Saturate rodent droppings with a 1:10 bleach solution, wipe droppings and place into double-bagged garbage container. Continue monitoring for pest activity with assistance from your professional pest control company. Remove all equipment that is not required.

Rodent droppings are a sign of pest activity. Rodents and their droppings will contaminate food items in the premise.

Follow-up inspection to initial conducted on June 13, 2018 (RPT#: JMAA-AZPS75).

- Ventilation slats have been cleaned - good
- Grease around area underneath chafing dishes has been removed

Another follow-up will be conducted to ensure that all rodent droppings around the dining hall and facility have been removed. Operator has agreed to perform a deep clean of the premise and to remove all unnecessary equipment and materials that could act as harbourage sites for rodents.
