Introduction

An unscheduled follow-up inspection to ensure items in contravention at the last routine inspection have been addressed. A written response was received from the Licensee on February 27, 2019 outlining the items that had been addressed

Observed Violations
STAFFING: 12190 - CCLR s.22(2)(b) - A licensee must ensure that each employee (b) practices implementing the fire drill system at least once each month.
Observation: During the previous inspection, it was observed that fire drills were recorded with exception to Dec 2018. It was observed today that fire drills have been recorded in 2019, with the exception of April 2019
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure a system is in place to implement and record the fire drill system at least once a month

Comments

At this inspection dated May 9, 2019 there were 6 children and 1 staff present. At this inspection, the above noted contravention was identified. The licensee is asked to provide a written response. Children were observed transitioning from outdoor play to meal time, which included hand washing
