Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations

PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11010 - CCLR s.13(1) - A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees. Observation: the following concerns were noted, diaper cream was accessible to the children , fixed at time of inspection, the dryer door and washer door is accessible to the children Corrective Action(s): please ensure that the doors are made inaccessible to the children Date to be Corrected: July 4,2023
