Routine inspection conducted at the food facility and the following observations were made during the inspection:

Temperature:
- Walk-in cooler at 3C.
**Door of walk-in cooler was left partially open. Ensure that the door is closed at all times to maintain temperature of at least 4C.
- Stand-up freezer (ice) at -19C.
- Cooler for relish/pickles at 2C.
- Hot holding for cheese and chili sauce at 60-61C.
- Ice cream chest freezer at -24C.
- 2 door stand-up freezer in back area at -15C.
**Do not overstock the freezer as it may hinder the air circulation within freezer.
- Reach in display cooler (sandwich) at 0C.
- Hot holding for hot dogs at 75C.
- Hot holding for pizza at 71C.
- Undercounter freezer at -17C.
- Undercounder cooler at 5C.

Hygiene and Sanitizing:
- Hand wash station was adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels in front service area.
- Sanitizer spray bottle available and the concentration of QUATS noted at 200ppm.
- Sanitizer dispenser releases 200 ppm QUATS at 3-compartment sink.
- Utensils and tongs were found in sanitary condition.
- Slushie customer self-serve area was found clean. Hand sanitizer bottle was placed there at the time of inspection.
- Washrooms maintained in good sanitary condition with supply of hot/cold running water, liquid soap and air dryer.
- Sanitizer logs were maintained and found up-to-date.

Storage:
- All food items were stored at least 6" off the floor.
- All products were either in original packaging or covered inside coolers.
- Back storage area was not properly organized. Facility received delivery today and was in process of organizing/stocking all the food items.
**Clean and re-organize the back storage area to prevent obstruction near 3-compartment sink.
- Mop sink was equipped with backflow preventer.
- Chemicals, including QUATS and cleaners, were stored separate from food preparation areas.

Pest Management:
- Professional pest control company conducts routine checks. Last inspection was conducted in May 2021.
- No visible signs of pest activity observed at the time of inspection.

Administrative:
- Operating permit was posted in a conspicuous location.
- Staff has valid FoodSafe Level 1 certificate.

COVID-19 Safety Plan:
- A copy of COVID-19 Safety Plan was available on site.
- Appropriate COVID-19 protocols and signage were found in place.
- Staff health checks were conducted and records were maintained.
- Maximum occupancy limit of 10 was posted at the entrance and staff designated to monitor the number of patrons during rush hours.
