Observation: Dishwasher sanitizing hot water: 65.8C max temp after 4 runs.
Dishes are mainly trays to be washed at intervals or at end of day, no customer dishes.
Corrective Action(s): Please call and have this fixed to ensure final rinse temperature at plate surface reaches 71C, minimum gauge temp. 82C. Use 3 comp sink method in the meantime.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: 1. Multiple spills in the facility and number of wrappers, cardboard boxes, cartons, food packages with and without food, drink containers, ice cream and water spills on the floor from the drive through windows and through to the back storage. Toppled boxes in the dry storage area.
2. Back receiving area has a lot of debris, crumbs and litter in corners and at the back. Could use sweeping, cleaning and power washing. Back seal is good.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Staff wiped up majority of spills and corrected this during the inspection. Thank you.
2. Deep cleaning could be done for back storage area.

Observation: Dishwasher not achieving hot water sanitation.
Dishwasher gauge is up too high and numbers cannot be seen or monitored by staff efficiently on regular basis. Beeps when low temp is detected but rinse cycle was consistently low for 4 runs and it did not beep, ie. Giving false readings.
Freezer lid for burger storage – falls off when opened.
Ice cooler lid also falls off when opened.
May be safety issue for staff, also difficult to use.
Corrective Action(s): Dishwasher: Install digital gauge where staff can read and monitor readings to ensure proper wash and sanitation temperatures are reached.

Sandwich counter vegetables: time is used as control.
Freezers <-18C.
No pests at the time of inspection, pest control traps in place.
Hot holding units well above 60C.
Ice scoop clean and in holder.
Washrooms are generally clean.
