Cold potentially hazardous food stored/displayed above 4 °C. [s. 14(2)]
Observation: Temperature of the food in the double stainless steel door fridge is 10C. Operator reported that service technician had attended hours before. Temperature of the small undercounter fridge is 10C. Temperature was turned down during the inspection.
Correction: Technician will be called again. Monitor temperature. Put food into the other fridge as discussed if temperature does not continue to drop to 4C or 40F or below in half hour. Record daily temperature of the fridges on a log.

Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: The restaurant is currently offering takeout only. The dishwasher is not being used and dishes and utensils are being washed manually in the sink. Proper manual dishwashing procedures are not being followed.
Correction: Wash dirty dishes with warm soapy water in the first sink, then rinse with warm water in the second sink. Drain the first sink and clean. Fill with bleach solution ( 1tbsp per imperial gal/ 2mL per L)and immerse dishes. Allow to air dry after.
Comments

Temperarture of the food items in the stainless steel fridge and the undercounter bar fridge is satisfactory.
Staff reported checking temperatures in the morning but have not started recording on a log sheet. Please start.
Bags of flour now stored on shelves and not on the floor.
Confirmed with staff that the COVID plan needs to be available at the restaurant as well as posted on the restaurant website.
General sanitation is good.

The report was discussed verbally with the person in charge, Simran Rai
